PHT-6000
Los durómetros de PHASE II son capaces de medir la dureza de superficies de una amplia variedad de metales sobre superficies planas, redondas, delgadas o gruesas. A diferencia de los medidores de dureza dinámicos regulares, estos modernos durómetros portátiles incorporan la tecnología “ultrasónica UCI” la cual permite medir la dureza de piezas de trabajo muy delgadas y pequeñas, que de otro modo no podrían ser medidas con precisión usando un dispositivo portátil. Debido a su función no destructiva, estos durómetros permiten medir partes altamente sensibles o acabadas que antes no podían ser probadas en un entorno operativo. La característica no destructiva (ndt) de estos durómetros permite al operador probar las partes con precisión sin causar daños estructurales o físicos que normalmente conduciría a la eliminación o el re-acabado de las partes. Esto traduce en menos piezas desechadas y reducidos costos de manufactura debido a inspecciones necesarias.
PHASE II ofrece dos modelos de durómetros por ultrasonido que son capaces de medir la dureza de superficies de una amplia variedad de metales sobre superficies planas, redondas, delgadas o gruesas. Mediciones precisas de acero, fundición de acero, aleación de acero, aluminio, latón, bronce y cobre se logran fácilmente con estos instrumentos compactos.
El PHT-6000 cumple con las especificaciones ASTM A1038-10.

Impedancia de contacto ultrasónico es un método de ensayo de dureza basado en la frecuencia del cambio en las mediciones de una varilla de resonancia provocada por la naturaleza esencialmente elástica del área finita de contacto entre el penetrador y la pieza de ensayo durante la penetración. Descrito como una práctica de prueba de dureza utilizando un instrumento calibrado que presiona una varilla resonante con un penetrador de diamante estilo Vickers con una fuerza fija contra la superficie de la parte a ser probada.
